Nike Inc. (NKE) reported third quarter net income from continuing operations of $0.73 per share after the bell Thursday, up from $0.61 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.67.
Nike has gapped open sharply higher Friday morning and is now up 4.95 at $58.55 on above average volume. The stock has broken out of a 2-month range and has set a new high for the year.
