TIBCO Software Inc. (TIBX) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.18 after the bell Thursday, down from $0.20 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.18. Revenues grew to $237.8 million from $225.7 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $242.45 million for the quarter.
TIBCO Software gapped open sharply lower Friday, but rose above the session's narrow range in late trading. The stock ended the day down by 2.18 at $20.99 on the highest volume of the year. TIBCO Software finished at a 2 1/2 week low and fell below its 50-day moving average.
