Metabolix Inc. (MBLX), Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net loss of $9.4 million, compared to net loss of $9.6 million. On a per share basis, loss for the quarter remained unchanged from the prior year at $0.28.
Total revenue in the quarter was $1.4 million, compared to $0.4 million a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated a loss of $0.26 a share on revenues of $1.23 million for the quarter.
Total expenses for the quarter were higher at $10.9 million, compared to $10.06 million last year.
