BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. (BMR) announced the pricing of public offering of 15 million common shares at $21.40 per share. All of the shares are being sold by the company. The gross proceeds will be approximately $321.0 million.
BioMed Realty expects to use the proceeds to fund a portion of the purchase price for the pending acquisition of Wexford Science & Technology, to repay a portion of the outstanding indebtedness under unsecured line of credit, and for other general corporate and working capital purposes.
The offering is expected to close on or about April 2, 2013.
