SAIC Inc. (SAI) reported fourth quarter income from continuing operations of $0.54 per share after the close Tuesday, compared to the loss of $0.49 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.52. Full year 2014 earnings from continuing operations are expected to be between $1.16 and $1.33 per share. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $1.27.
SAIC gapped open higher Wednesday, but traded in a range throughout the session. The stock closed up by 0.50 at $13.32, with volume at over a 6-month high. SAIC has been gaining ground for the last month and set over an 11 1/2 month high.
