Signet Jewelers Ltd. (SIG) reported fourth quarter net income of $2.12 per share Thursday morning, up from $1.79 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $2.09. First quarter EPS is expected to be between $1.07 and $1.12, compared to the consensus estimate of $1.12.
Signet Jewelers gapped open higher Thursday and is now up 4.76 at $68.03. The stock has risen past the upper end of over a 2-month range and has set a new high for the year.
