American Capital Ltd. (ACAS) said Thursday that in the first quarter of 2013, it made open market purchases of about 9.0 million shares of its common stock, or 3 percent of its outstanding shares as of December 31, 2012.
The shares were purchased at an average price of $14.23 per share, totaling about $128.3 million.
