Japan is on Monday scheduled to release February figures for its current account, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. Also due are March figures for bankruptcies and results for the eco watchers survey.
The current account is expected to show a surplus of 435.4 billion yen following the 364.8 billion yen deficit in January. Bankruptcies were down 11.8 percent on year in February, while the score for the eco watchers current conditions survey was 53.2 and the outlook came in at 57.7.
Australia will see March results for job advertisements and the AiG Performance of Construction survey. In February, job ads were up 3.0 percent on month, while the construction index saw a score of 45.6.
Finally, the stock market in Thailand is closed on Monday and will re-open on Tuesday.
