Starwood Property Trust (STWD) announced after the close Monday that it is offering 26,500,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The stock is now down 1.49 on 11K shares.
Starwood Property Trust posted modest gains in early trade Monday and advanced further in the afternoon. Shares finished up by 0.73 at $28.22. The stock closed near the upper end of a 5-week range at the highs of the year.
