Centamin Plc (CEY.L) Tuesday, in a preliminary report for the first quarter, said total gold production from its Sukari Gold Mine in Egypt was 87,016 ounces, a 77 percent increase from 49,071 ounces reported for the corresponding quarter last year.
The company further said quarterly throughput at the Sukari process plant was 1,402kt, a 37 percent increase from 1,020kt reported a year earlier.
