Housewares and accessories retailer Tuesday Morning Corp. (TUES) reported a 3.1% growth in third-quarter net sales to $178.1 million, from $172.7 million last year, with quarterly comparable store-sales increasing 2.8%, which included a 1.4% growth in average transaction and a 1.4% increase in customer traffic.
For the nine-month period ended March 31, 2013, net sales totaled $636.2 million, versus $616.4 million a year ago. Nine-month comparable-store sales went up by 3.7%.
