After-market Movers For April 11 (ASH, WLT, XXIA, JBHT, HRS)

Shares of Ashland Inc. (ASH) gained more than 5% in after hours trading after hedge fund Jana Partners LLC revealed in a regulatory filing that it has taken a 7.4% stake in the specialty chemicals company.

Walter Energy, Inc. (WLT, WLT.TO) shares rose more than 5% in extended hours trading after the producer of metallurgical coal said that its performance for the first quarter 2013 has improved compared with fourth quarter 2012, driven largely by increased metallurgical coal sales volume and pricing, increased production and lower costs.

Shares of Ixia (XXIA) fell more than 3% in late trading after the Internet software maker cut its first quarter revenue outlook.

J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. (JBHT) shares slipped more than 3% in after hours trading after the trucking and transportation company reported first quarter profit that missed analysts' estimate.

Shares of Harris Corp. (HRS) slumped more than 6% in extended hours trading after the communications and information technology company gave a down-beat outlook for the third quarter and lowered its full year guidance, due to delays in tactical radio procurements.
