German lender Deutsche Bank AG's (DB) Supervisory Board has proposed the election of three new members. They are John Cryan, President Europe of Temasek International Pte Ltd., Singapore; Dina Dublon, Non-Executive Director of Accenture, Microsoft and PepsiCo; and Georg Thoma, Attorney, Neuss.
At the conclusion of the General Meeting on May 23, 2013, the term of office would end for six of the ten shareholder representatives on the Supervisory Board. Two members namely Karl-Gerhard Eick and Werner Wenning would not stand for re-election, while Tilman Todenhöfer would stand to be elected until October 31, 2013.
Before joining Singapore's sovereign investment fund, Cryan was Group Chief Financial Officer or CFO of UBS. He has more than twenty years of experience in the banking and financial sector. Dublon, the former CFO of JPMorgan Chase, would not be available due to personal reasons until November 1, 2013. Thoma has been a Partner of the law firm Shearman & Sterling LLP for over twenty years and has advised companies in key transactions and restructurings.
Standing for re-election are Professor Dr. Henning Kagermann, Suzanne Labarge, Johannes Teyssen.
