Rogers Communications (RCI, RCI.TO) Wednesday said it has acquired BLACKIRON Data, a Canadian provider of data and cloud computing services, from Primus Telecommunications Group (PRTL) for a cash consideration of $200 million.
The acquisition enhances Rogers' suite of enterprise-level data centre and cloud computing services. Canadian business will benefit from a single provider able to ensure end-to-end security and reliability of mission-critical business applications.
