Allstate Corp. (ALL) announced estimated catastrophe losses for the month of March 2013 of $198 million, pre-tax, and an estimated $359 million, pre-tax, for first quarter 2013.
Catastrophe losses occurring in the first quarter comprised nine events at an estimated cost of $391 million, pre-tax, partially offset by favorable reserve reestimates of prior year catastrophe losses.
