MindTree Ltd. said its board had recommended a second interim dividend of 40 percent or Rs.4.00 per equity share of Rs.10 each for the fiscal year 2013, to be paid on or before May 15.
The board also considered a final dividend of 50 percent or Rs.5.00 per equity share of Rs.10 each for the fiscal year 2013, and this dividend is payable subject to approval of shareholders.
The company reported fourth-quarter stand-alone net profit Rs.78.90 crore, up by 14 percent from the Rs.69.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012. Its net income from software services increased by 16 percent to Rs.612.40 crore from the Rs.525.70 crore in Q4FY12.
For the fiscal year, the company's stand-alone net profit grew by 55 percent to Rs.338.90 crore from the Rs.218.70 crore last year. Net income from software services up by 23 percent at Rs.2,361.80 crore, compared with Rs.1,915.20 crore in 2012.
On a consolidated basis, its net profit for the fiscal year net profit increased by 55 percent to Rs.339.30 crore from the Rs.218.50 crore last year. Net income from software services rose by 23 percent to Rs.2,361.18 crore from the Rs.1,915.20 crore in 2012.
At the BSE, MindTree shares are currently trading at Rs.851.15 down 1.88 percent from the previous close.
