Residents of Washington, D.C. and surrounding areas helped organize a series of "tribute" runs on Saturday to show their support for the victims of the bombings at the Boston Marathon last week.
WTTG reports that the runs, which were organized through social media, were designed to show camaraderie with the runners and spectators who participated in the Boston Marathon.
Approximately 30 people participated in the run.
