Singapore is on Tuesday scheduled to release March figures for inflation, highlighting a light day in Asia-Pacific economic activity.

Inflation is expected to ease 0.2 percent on month and rise 3.7 percent on year after adding 1.0 percent on month and 4.9 percent on year in February.

Australia will see February results for the Conference Board's leading and coincident indexes; in January, they were up 0.2 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively.

China will release April's reading for its manufacturing PMI; in March, it saw a score of 51.6.
