Spanish financial services firm Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. or BBVA Group (BBVA) has executed the transfer of a 100% of the share capital of the Peruvian company "AFP Horizonte, S.A." in favor of "AFP Integra, S.A." and "Profuturo AFP, S.A.", who have each acquired 50% of said company. The share transfer was completed and settled today via. the Electronic System of the Lima Stock Exchange.
The total consideration paid for the shares is about $544 million, which is approximately equivalent to 1,410 million of Peruvian new Soles. This consideration is composed by a price of about $516 million and a dividend distributed prior to the closing of around 73.6 million Peruvian new Soles.
The capital gain net of taxes arising from the transaction totals nearly 208 million euros.
