Rock-Tenn Co. (RKT) reported second quarter adjusted EPS of $1.12 after the bell Tuesday, up from $0.97 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $1.02.
Rock-Tenn has spiked to the upside at the open Wednesday and is currently higher by 7.55 at $101.53. The stock has surged past resistance and has set a new high for the year.
