Knight Transportation Inc. (KNX) Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $15.1 million or $0.19 per share, up from $10.5 million or $0.13 per share last year.
Total revenues for the quarter increased to 7.2 percent to $235.50 million from $219.53 million last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.18 per share on revenue of $231.00 million for the quarter.
