Akamai Technologies Inc. (AKAM) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.51 after the close Wednesday, up from $0.36 in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.46.
Akamai Technologies gapped open sharply higher Thursday and is now up 6.06 at $42.15. The stock is now challenging resistance at the highs of the year, trading at nearly a 4-month high.
