Cabela's Inc. (CAB) reported first quarter EPS of $0.70 Thursday morning, up from $0.40 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.59.
Cabela's gapped open higher Thursday and has continued to gain ground in early trade. The stock is now up 8.72 at $64.94 on above average volume. Cabela's has risen past the upper end of a month and a half long range and has set a new high for the year.
