D.R. Horton Inc. (DHI) reported second quarter net income of $0.32 per share Friday morning, up from $0.13 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.19.
D.R. Horton gapped open higher Friday and has continued to gain ground in early trade. Shares are now up 1.57 at $26.10. The stock has broken out past resistance and has set a new high for the year.
