Hedge fund JANA Partners disclosed a 9.1% stake in Oil States International (OIS) in a 13D filing.
Oil States International gapped open sharply higher Tuesday and spiked to the upside in early trade, before settling into a range. Shares finished with a gain of 12.82 at $89.36 on the highest volume of the year. The stock broke out past resistance and set a new high for the year.
