Adjusted earnings for the quarter dropped to $0.53 per share from $0.67 per share last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.50 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Net sales for the quarter dropped to $195.6 million from $217.1 million last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $197.97 million for the quarter.
