Texas Roadhouse Inc. (TXRH) reported first quarter EPS of $0.37 after the bell Monday, up from $0.27 in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.35.
Texas Roadhouse gapped up sharply Tuesday and climbed for the majority of the morning. The stock finished with a gain of 2.18 at $23.50 on strong volume. Texas Roadhouse rose to its fourth consecutive new high for the year.
