Nuance Communications Inc. (NUAN) reported second quarter adjusted EPS of $0.34 Tuesday morning, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $0.40.
Nuance Communications gapped open sharply lower Tuesday, but moved in a narrow range for the majority of the session. Shares finished with a loss of 4.26 at $19.04 on the highest volume of the year. The stock dropped to over a 1-month low and fell below both its 50 and 200-day moving averages.
