Transition Therapeutics Inc. (TTHI) announced the results of a 5-week proof of concept clinical study of TT-401 Tuesday morning, in type 2 diabetic and obese non-diabetic subjects. TT-401 demonstrated significant improvements in glycemic control and reductions in body weight.
Transition Therapeutics gapped up and spiked higher at the open Tuesday, before settling into a range. The stock ended the session with a gain of 0.85 at $3.10 on the highest volume of the year. Transition Therapeutics set a new high for the year.
