Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (JKHY) reported net income in the third quarter was $46.0 million or $0.53 per share, compared to $36.7 million or $0.42 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Total revenue for the third quarter rose to $281.5 million from $256.3 million a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.51 per share on revenue of $276.04 million for the third quarter.
