DreamWorks Animation (DWA) reported first quarter net income of $0.07 per share after the bell Tuesday, down from $0.11 per share a year ago. The consensus estimate was for a loss of $0.03.
DreamWorks Animation gapped open higher Wednesday, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. The stock closed up by 1.41 at $20.69 on the highest volume of the year. DreamWorks Animation leaped to nearly a 6-month high.
