Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.69 per share on revenues of $204.26 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
For the second-quarter, the company expects GAAP earnings per share to be in the range of $0.50 - $0.55, Non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.69 - $0.72, GAAP revenue of $204.6 million - $210.6 million, and Non-GAAP revenue of $206.0 million - $212.0 million.
Analysts expect the company to report earnings of $0.74 per share on revenues of $214.86 million for the second-quarter.
Looking ahead for fiscal 2013, the company now anticipates GAAP earnings per share of $2.24 - $2.36, and Non-GAAP earnings per share of $2.96 - $3.04. Earlier, the company had expected earnings per share in the range of $2.25 to $2.41 and Non-GAAP earnings per share of $3.00 to $3.12 in 2013.
For 2013, the company now projects GAAP revenue to be in the range of $850.4 million - $870.4 million, and Non-GAAP revenue of $855.0 million - $875.0 million. Previously, the company had expected revenue to be in the range of $875.4 million to $900.4 million, and Non-GAAP revenue in the range of $880 million to $905 million.
Analysts expect the company to report earnings of $3.08 per share on revenues of $892.03 million for fiscal 2013.
