Dole Food Co. Inc. (DOLE) Thursday reported first-quarter loss of $65.6 million, compared to a profit of $17.2 million in the comparable quarter last year.
Income from continuing operations totaled $3.9 million or $0.04 per share, compared to $25.6 million or $0.29 per share last year. Comparable income for the quarter was $10.5 million or $0.12 per share.
Revenues improved 3 percent to $1.05 billion from $1.09 billion last year.
