Ambuja Cements Ltd. reported first-quarter stand-alone net profit of Rs.487.90 crore, up from Rs.312.22 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012. Total income decreased to Rs.2,706.54 crore from the Rs.2,743.71 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
At the BSE, Ambuja Cements shares are currently trading at Rs.186.80, down 1.68 percent from the previous close.
