Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., an unit of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. (HA) Friday reported a 18.9 percent growth in April traffic, with capacity rising by 25.9 percent.
Monthly traffic, measured in revenue passenger miles, increased to 1.05 billion, from 882.49 million in the same period last year. Capacity in April, measured in available seat miles, was 1.35 billion, up 25.9 percent from 1.07 billion a year ago.
However, load factor for the month dropped 4.6 points to 77.5 percent from 82.1 percent in the previous year.
