Hungary's retail sales declined at a faster pace in March, a report from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed Monday.
Retail sales fell 2.8 percent year-on-year in March, following a 1.1 percent decrease in the preceding month. Sales have now declined for 12 successive months.
The volume of sales dropped 0.9 percent annually in food, drinks and tobacco stores and 2.7 percent in non-food. Trade in automotive fuel fell 5.1 percent from a year earlier.
