Weis Markets, Inc. (WMK) reported its first quarter net income increased 0.5% to $20.1 million compared to the same period in 2012 while its earnings per share increased to $0.75 per share compared to $0.74 per share for the same quarter a year ago.
Sales for the quarter increased 3.2% to $682.7 million compared to the same period in 2012 while its comparable store sales increased 0.8%.
