Hologic Inc. (HOLX) reported second quarter non-GAAP adjusted EPS of $0.35 after the bell Monday, compared to $0.33 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.34. The company expects to report third quarter non-GAAP adjusted EPS of $0.36 to $0.37 and between $1.54 and $1.56 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.41 and $1.58. The stock is now down 0.66 on 340K shares.
Hologic rose during the first hour of trade Monday and took out the session highs in the early afternoon. The stock finished up by 0.64 at $20.66 and set nearly a 2-week high.
