Denmark's industrial production increased modestly in March, data released by Statistics Denmark showed Tuesday.
Industrial production increased a seasonally adjusted 0.7 percent month-on-month in March. With a 2.9 percent monthly increase, non-durable consumer goods recorded the biggest growth during the month. Output of intermediate goods moved up by 1.2 percent.
Consumer durables production, meanwhile, decreased 4.5 percent from the prior month, and capital goods output dropped by 2.3 percent.
During the three months ended March, industrial output rose 2 percent from the preceding three month-period, data showed.
