Allot Communications Ltd. (ALLT) reported that its first quarter of 2013 GAAP net loss was $1.8 million, or $0.06 per share, compared to net profit of $3.2 million, or $0.10 per share, in the first quarter of 2012.
On a non-GAAP basis, net profit for the quarter was $0.6 million, or $0.02 per share, down from $5.0 million, or $0.15 per share in the year ago quarter.
Total GAAP revenues for the quarter were $24.1 million compared to $24.2 million in the year ago quarter. On a non-GAAP basis, total revenues for the quarter reached $24.2 million, compared to $24.2 million last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.11 per share on revenues of $27.52 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
