C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. (CHRW) reported net income for the first quarter of $103.3 million or $0.64 per share, compared to $106.5 million or $0.65 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Total revenue for the first quarter rose 17.3% to $2.99 billion from $2.55 billion a year ago. Total net revenue for the quarter grew 9.9% to $455.72 million from $414.75 million last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.69 per share on revenue of $2.98 billion for the first quarter.
