Adjusted net income for the latest first quarter rose to $73.1 million or $0.50 per share from $52.5 million or $0.38 per share last year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.46 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
First quarter revenues grew 25 percent to $229.92 million from $183.72 million last year, while twenty analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $223.76 million for the quarter.
