QEP Resources, Inc. (QEP) said Thursday that its subsidiary QEP Midstream Partners LP has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The filing is made in anticipation of a proposed initial public offering of common units representing limited partner interests in QEP Midstream Partners.
The proposed maximum aggregate offering price, which is solely used to calculate registration fee, is $400 million, the filing showed.
The filing did not contain how many common units the company planned to sell or their expected price.
QEP Midstream Partners plans to apply to list its common units on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "QEPM."
QEP Midstream Partners was recently formed by QEP Resources to own, operate, acquire and develop midstream energy assets.
