Denmark's consumer price inflation fell slightly to 0.8 percent in April from 0.9 percent in March, Statistics Denmark said Friday. On a monthly basis, consumer prices dropped 0.2 percent in March.
At the same time, the harmonized index of consumer prices rose at a slower pace of 0.4 percent, following a 0.7 percent rise a month ago. Month-on-month, it fell 0.3 percent.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages costs rose 1.2 percent, while cost of alcoholic beverages and education showed the biggest annual increase of 2.9 percent. On the other hand, communication logged the biggest fall of 4.3 percent.
