JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) said its April traffic rose 4.7% year-over-year to 3.00 billion revenue passenger mile, while its capacity for the month increased 6.5% to 3.58 billion available seat miles.
As a result, load factor for April 2013 was 83.7%, down 1.5 poins from 85.2% in April 2013.
JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of April decreased nine percent year over year.
For the month of May, PRASM is expected to increase between zero and 1% year over year.
