Rathbone Brothers Plc. (RAT.L) on Wednesday said its first-quarter net operating income grew 9.7 percent to 44.0 million pounds from 40.1 million pounds last year.
For the quarter, net interest income slid to 2.1 million pounds from 2.6 million pounds in the prior year, while income from fees increased to 24.9 million pounds from 21.7 million pounds last year. Total income from its investment management grew 9.8 percent to 41.6 million pounds from 37.9 million pounds last year.
Total funds under management, or FUM, for the quarter climbed to 19.574 billion pounds from 16.807 billion pounds last year.
