Air Berlin (AIBEF.PK) reported that its first-quarter net income was €196.3 million or €1.68 per share, compared to €163.6 million or €1.51 per share in the same quarter last year.
The operating result for the current first quarter was €188.4 million from €149.3 million euros in the prior year.
Pre-tax loss in the first quarter amounted to €213.4 million, compared with €152.9 million in the comparable quarter last year.
Revenue for the quarter decreased 2.6 percent to €791.9 million from €812.9 million in the year ago quarter.
