Tesla Motors Inc. (TSLA) announced offerings of 2,703,027 shares of common stock and $450 million aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2018 in concurrent underwritten registered public offerings after the bell Wednesday. The stock is now up 5.43 on 943K shares.
Tesla Motors posted modest gains in early trade Wednesday, before settling into a narrow range. The stock closed up by 1.60 at $84.84.
