Agilent Technologies Inc. (A) reported second quarter adjusted EPS of $0.77 after the bell Tuesday, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.67. The company expects to report third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.60 to $0.64 and between $2.70 and $2.85 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.74 and $2.88.
Agilent Technologies gapped up Wednesday and climbed until mid-morning, before settling into a range. The stock finished up by 1.71 at $45.68 on strong volume and set a new high for the year.
