HCL Tech To Provide Business Transformation Services To Husqvarna Group

HCL Technologies Ltd. announced that it has been selected by Husqvarna Group, a global leader in products and solutions for garden, park and forest care as well as construction, as a global strategic partner to provide comprehensive business transformation services to the latter. The engagement covers Europe, Asia Pacific and US operations.

As per the agreement, HCL will impact Husqvarna Group's key business operations bringing in enhanced efficiencies in their key business process areas. HCL will be using its proprietary Managed Application Services (MASCoT) framework, a managed service model to provide application support and maintenance, application life cycle management, application operation through 24x7 call support and services to support Husqvarna Group's business.

HCL's Framework for MASCoT will give Husqvarna Group cost savings, improved visibility on their applications availability to business, improved quality of service delivery which is SLA driven and 24*7 support model. HCL is committed to play the role of a transformational agent within Husqvarna's IT and business process.

The agreement scope also includes legacy and customs applications and ERP systems covering key business processes at Husqvarna including future business transformation projects and services.

HCL Tech's Senior Corporate Vice President and President-Consumer and Manufacturing Services Sanjeev Nikore said, "The application and business transformation agreement is one of the largest engagement for manufacturing industry in HCL Europe and accentuates the company's growing hold in the region, especially Nordics."

At the BSE, HCL Technologies shares are currently trading at Rs.746.60, up 0.09 percent from the previous close.
